Debi Ann Ramos

After graduating from Harvard Radcliffe college with an A.B. in Philosophy, Ms. Ramos obtained a J.D. from Harvard Law School.
Following law school, she relocated to Southern California to focus on complex litigation matters. Ms. Ramos has handled all stages of complex disputes from pre-litigation investigation to mediation, arbitration or trial, and appeal in all of the California State and Federal Courts. She has litigated a wide range of disputes, including defending a high-profile corporate officer and Trustee from allegations of malfeasance and breach of fiduciary duty, defending a government contractor from mass torts related to historical ground water pollution, and litigating breach of contract and negligence claims against a large national bank regarding the loss of federal repayment guarantees for hundreds of millions of student loans.
Ms. Ramos has also represented several condemned prisoners on death row and assisted with their habeas corpus investigations and briefing on a pro bono basis. She also represented more than thirty indigent convicted felons on appeal in Los Angeles and Orange Counties.
Away from the office, Ms. Ramos is a fiber artist who creates yarns, textiles, and patterns for handcrafters.
